Goodbye sodas

I have officially lasted a day in a half with no sodas. While I am proud of myself ,I know I have a long way to go. For those of you who do not know me well, I drink soda all the time. I have gained 15 pounds since I have been married, which is way too much! Everyone has to start somewhere, so I have started with sodas. Eventually I would like to cut them out period, but we will have to see about that!:)

GOODBYE SODAS!

Seven months

As I was sitting at work it cam across my mind that heath and I have been married seven months! I can not believe the time has passed by so fast it seems like yesterday heath and I were getting to know each other. Marriage has taught me so many things. The number one thing it has showed me is that if God is the center of our lives then our marriage will be one that lasts and one that puts the spouse above themselves. It has also taught me to cook. I did not care to cook before I got married, but now I love to cook things from scratch. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies. There are so many things that I am looing forward to learning on my new path in life.

My favorite books of the Bible

As I was going through my Bible story, I came to Esther. Esther is my second favorite book of the Bible.( Ruth is first.) Every time I read the book I learn so many things about Esther. Esther had so much courage, and yet she also was humbled.
My favorite book of the Bible is Ruth. Ruth was such a generous, loving, and loyal woman. The book of Ruth teaches me that God is at work , divinely orchestrating events to bring about his purposes in our life. One day I hope to be like Ruth and Esther.

There is always time for being thankful

There are so many things that I am thankful for, but one thing i very rarely do is thank God for my Job! I have recently gotten another job, which I love very much! I was not looking for a job and all of the sudden I had a phone call for a job! Looking back now I can see how God was moving in my life. I am so thankful that God guides me through my life.

I am also thankful for my sweet husband! He such a wonderful husband and I am so thankful for the small things he does for me. I try every day to show him how much he means to me by doing things for him. I remember one of the things my mom told me about my great grandmother and how she would get her husband ready for work by cooking breakfast, laying his clothes out, and she even ironed his underwear. I always thought that was just the sweetest thing! I always have told myself I am going to be almost like that. I almost every morning get up and make breakfast. It is not always something homemade but its breakfast. I always pack his lunch and that is something i hope to always do for him, even though sometimes it is so early.

I am also thankful for my family. I love them so much. There are so many times where I miss being with them. I miss playing barbies with the girls, and little moments that were so special to me. I am also thankful for all my extended family. There are so many moments where I wish that instead of playing a game i was spending time with a great grandparent because when they are gone that's it. I have learned to cherish every moment with whomever is in my life. Life is so fast and I have Learned that you need to be thankful for everything because it could be gone so fast.

God Is Good all the Time!

I can not believe it is raining again. I guess I would not dislike rain as much if I did not have to go anywhere. Driving on the interstate in rain is awful. Driving period is awful! There are so many people who can not drive. They pull out in front of you, they get over on top of you, and they get over when you are right beside them.Driving stresses me out so bad because I am trying to dodge cars!

Anyway changing the subject, Heath and I have been looking at houses lately. We really are ready to have our own house, but we know we have to be patient and wait on God's time! Well yesterday Heath told me that someone is selling there home and all they want is payoff! The house is a 3b 2 ba and is in Cotton lakes in wetumpka. I was so excited! God is so good! We are looking forward to hopefully purchase a house this year!

Thanks again for reading my blog!
